The goverment needs to focus on education more as it is the only way this countries economy will improve in the long term with competition from China and India squeezing margins on cheaper products made in the UK.

There is no doubt that universities require more funding as innovation is needed now more than ever, with a pensions crisis still very much on the cards the next generation has to choce between highly levels of debt currently with no prospects following graduation or low income long term due to being under skilled, this could spell disaster for this country.
