Vicious cycle of socialization

This is how the story goes: we learn from our peers, we both learn from our parents. If our parents have bad habits or know very little then we will also have bad habits and learn very little and vice versa.
If you have children of successful parents together then those who have not been born with such advantages and can’t afford to have a private education lose out and can’t learn from their peers/peer’s parents.
